That's how brackets work. Top seeds face the lower seeds. To have 2 clear cut favorites facing off in the first round is asinine & makes the rest of the bracket pointless. The point of seeding lines (teams) serves a purpose, which is why every major sport uses a bracket style tournament to determine a champion. If you eek your way into the playoffs, why do you deserve an easier route to the championship? At the same time, when your team has been head & shoulders above 98% percent of the competition, why should their road to the championship be harder? This is such a close battle, it should have been for the title of the best line. Whichever line wins this round, will crush every other line they go up against. Making the rest of the tournament boring.
