Iron Man's currently not even Iron Man any more but is full of Bleeding edge I'm Tony Stark and I can shatter the Phoenix goodness in AvX and other Avengers titles.

During Secret Avengers' first arc they completely made Richard Rider Nova seem like a complete rookie to Commander Steve Rodgers even though he'd been built up with a whole new status quo as one of the most powerful in the MU and after leading a galactic war against Annihilus and Ultron that took billions of lives. I think that outweighs WW2 on Earth, but apparently not to Ed Brubaker.

anyway, without listing all the different areas where it happens, it's very noticeable to long time readers like us and it gets very annoying after a while.
