It's not that it's a known issue, but what he's getting at is, if you were to have 1 figure break on you, you'd much rather it be pyro then say deadpool, considering how little he normally costs. If you are buying any figure for MOC then no worries, it will be fine. But if you plan on having the figure loose for display/etc, then you need to factor in age, condition and if it's loose you should be fine, but expect maybe loose joints and the odd paint issue. MOC can be fine, but also can result in what happened to you. A good precurser to do is submerge your figure in hot-lukewarm water for a good 5-10 minutes before your start moving the joints around, as this will loosen up the "muscles" and make the figure more plyable.

So recap, if you plan on leaving them MOC, no worries. If you want them loose, then try to buy loose lots. I had longshot before and no issues, execept it's a shitty figure, lol. Lady deathstrike has 6 arms so there's more chances of her having an arm snap then just about anybody else. I have ML deadpool and Hawkeye both MOC, and I would love to open both, but I have the feeling a leg or arm may snap.
