of the population are mouth-breathers. We all breathe through our mouths from time to time for various reasons. It's part of our biology and to use that as a derogative slur is frankly stupid, IMHO.
Sorry, I'm just sick of that being the go-to phrase to insult someone. It just does not make any sense to me.
Close your mouth, then! Sounds to me like you're letting in too many flies! Only then would you mock the legitimacy of the urban dictionary. Seriously, mouthbreathing is a real issue, and it makes people look like morons.it may be a result of some more serious, possibly fatal sleep-apnea like condition. If you or someone you know is a mouth breather, seek medical attention.
