Seriously, I cringe when I see people using gold like that. I did the same thing (thanks to the tutorial making it seem like it was a good idea) and I was kicking myself every time one of those limited time gold weapons were available.

since last posting this has happened FOUR times at the end of my battles (winning or losing) and lost out on the energy and pickups

Do they have answers to this? Yes frustrating isn't it...
