I think they will sell just great. I know tons of people who are excited for them.

The problem is they are too big. I think its obvious that Playmates planned to only do them and that's it. If they had even planned for the possibility of a future Shredder or other human they would have scaled the turtles down.

Even if they sell so well Playmates wants to do more I think an in scale Shredder would be bigger than a NECA figure. I can't see Playmates having the budget for that size, detail and articulation mode.
