Issue 2 Way to overcome.

Quantum Knight: quantum forces weilder
Dark Streak: werewolf
Sentinel: armored hero

The group feels exhausted but Quantum Knight looks at them. He knows they need to be encouraged to act but he feels down. Maybe somehow deep in side he can motivate them. All he needs is words, the right words.



He begins, "I know he has beaten us but we cannot fall. The city lays bare before us and we must be the shield that defends it. We are the first wave of defense. The Alpha force By working together as a team, no an Alliance we will over come. I am Quantum Knight and I shall not give up. I will fight to stop this creature with my last breathe. We are Championbs, Heroes. We can do what they cannot. He must stand, take our measure and strike down Fall Out. he shall not get the best of us, for we are the Best. WE ARE THE BEST and cannot be stopped. We have fought one skirmish and taken his measure, it is our time to fight. He floated away limply barely able to move. The next fight is ours!"

The were wolf looks at him and snarls," I am Dark Streak and I have no plans to fall today, but your words have merit. We cannot let him go. Only by working together we can stop Fall-Out. I will join you in your Alliance. You have my claws and muscles. VICTORY!" He then howled to the moon which had started to rise.



"I am Sentinel, "began the armored warrior." This land is under my protection. I will gladly fight to save it. I have skills, many skills and I think we can forge a team from what we have. We can, and will take down this creature. We shall strive forth and protect the people. I shall not fail in this task. We are strong and we shall prove it."



They looked over at the other two and saw they had left. The Trio nodded and talked briefly of their powers. Quantum Knight thought he might be able to boost up his energy blast up to hurt the creature. Dark Streak was wounded but he figured he might be able to make one more strike. Sentinel would do his best to block any attacks Fall-Out would make. He could take a couple hits if he had to. He mentioned this was his first generation and other plans but he is more than ready to help out. The only question is how to catch up. DS said if the other two held his shoulders he could run fast real fast and they could catch up. DS was pretty strong and figured he could overcome the drag. They agreed and after getting a good grip burst forward. It took DS a minute to get used to the pull but he managed to get the handle on it and off they went . Fall-Out had five minutes on them and they surged forward. When they caught up three police cars had him surrounding with six officers pointing weapons. Fall Out looked amused and casually lobbed a ball of radioactive fire at a car causing it to burn and melt. The three split up and moved forward. The police fired bullets that seemed to do no harm. Quantum Knight climbed up and yelled, "Have at thee creature!" And fired a powerful bolt of energy. It staggered but glared at him. Fall Out never saw Dark Streak rush forward and hit him so hard into a car and stop moving. The energy died down and it was over. QK introduced himself and told about the plant and villain. People nearby cheered while the officer asked, "Who are you people?"



"Who are we?" Replied Sentinel." We are the ALPHA ALLIANCE. That is who."




The crowd cheered again and the trio got together and agreed to meet again in Seward Park. They went their way and met again at the park and talked for a while. Sentinel had rigged up some low power wrist radios that could contact each other within a hundred miles. It was sub sonic and should be untraceable. It should do for now. Since they met each had dealt with radioactive people and found out that about 24 people were at the blast site and were uncounted for. It might just mean they were atomized but they had meta few. They took it as their purpose to form together, safe guard the city and stop anymore of these creatures. They liked the name and would stay true to the cause. But first some new members might be nice. The first battle was hard and maybe a couple more people with powers might change their odds.
