At the rate they're selling, it probably won't. The time period for the sale is 2/3 done and, if the meter they have on there is accurate, they've sold about 1/3 of the minimum they say they'll require to make the sub go forward.

If so, yes it's sad to see it die, but it's hard to afford $30 per figure ($18 sticker price + about $10 to ship + tax).

Side note 1 -- I've eBayed alot -- it shouldn't cost that much to ship that box. $7 maybe.

Side note 2 -- I subbed in 2012. Despite all their screw-ups (like delaying, twice, Jay Garrick shipments), I'm glad I did. Character selection ended up being quite good IMO, only 2 or 3 out of the bunch that I really don't want. 2013 -- higher price and there's only 1 revealed so far that I must have -- Larfleeze. But I'm paying like $27 per fig after shipping and taxes, so they darn well better be good. And I wasn't expecting it to be that expensive. I didn't know shipping and taxes would be that much -- and they are even charging tax on shipping which I think is wrong. Now the price will go over $30. I don't need Phantom Stranger that badly. Nor even Wally (I'm content with Barry, and/or they could put him in the DC Unlimited retail line). I'd like Larfleeze, Elongated Man, and Saint Walker, but I won't die without them. However, I could die without the nearly $400 this sub would cost -- I could use that money for food.

Side note 3 -- If they want the sub to go forward, they should do 2 figs every 2 months. I mean, Watchmen folks are going to get something every other month and that seems okay to them. Give us 2 figs every other month and combine shipping. I'm guessing that'd bring the average total cost per fig down by about $4. (Instead of $10 shipping each, maybe $12 to ship two together, so average shipping price becomes $6). I'd even be down for 3 figures shipped once per quarter.
