That being said, the fact that the person with the worst customizing skills, on this or any forum, has all the parts, and could make a 100% identical version of that figure, a figure that is supposed to be an exclusive, and did cost 60 bucks, but is now 40, (which is 3 times retail cost btw) is sad.

Xforce AA and classic nick fury were awesome mail aways, not particularly easy to reproduce, unique packaging (for fury) and just overall good productions.

If hasbro expects me to pay well above retail, and wait weeks for it to show up, then I expect them to give me an awesome product, and in my eyes, that doom aint it. They used the Rogers head, which looks nothing like Mr Victor Von Doom for Christs sake!

For those who like that version of doom, I understand the want to have it, but I just personally feel like It's a sub par effort for a overly expensive figue.

If that figure was in the psylocke wave, I may have maybe just bought it in the last month or so, after having passed on it 1000 times, just because there was nothing new on the pegs.

If some one has an extra they want to sell me for 15 bucks then I'm down, but I wouldn't pay anything over that for that figure.

I was thinking about this the other day, and I think it would make a lot of sense to re-release the Nick Fury figure as a single carded figure. Hasbro should try to do everything they can to keep the high-priced figures as available as possible to drive the prices down.

I understand not putting X-Force AA out there just yet since the digital sub still has them, but surely they could clear the Fury figure with Marvel's Sub dept and go for it. Only makes sense.

None of my stores are really ready for new figures. Most of them have pegs and pegs of Wave 17 or earlier.

At least you saw the playset! You can probably rest in the knowledge that few people will be buying it and it'll be there for awhile...
