i paid $20 for Sinister back in the day because i didn't trust Hasbro. it happens. we all make mistakes. i try not to make such costly mistakes however. keep the damage minimal.

I'm not trying to tell people how to spend their hard earned cash. I'm just trying to find the logic? If you just have to have it now and can afford prices that high, like I said, more power to you.

But for me I have to budget, as do many collectors. So I pre-order or wait to see what happens at retail. If worse comes to worse I'll pay what I have to, but most likely I'll find deals that are more affordable than $25 a figure. It's not like my collection has suffered from waiting. I have almost every figure released. The only one I don't have that is rare is Blade. Other than that I have all the exclusives and most all the rare figures out there. So unless it's a mater of not being able to wait, I see no point in allowing scalpers to rape me.
