I found a Slave Leia today while on my way to a sales meeting (there was a Wallyworld across from the gas station so I thought I'd take a look!)



My first impression is that this is an incredibly well engineered toy. The ball joints are well done and face sculpt is exceptional, considering the train wreck of a track record that Hasbro has had in making female heads.

The legs in seated position are well sculpted with some nice detail on the folds in the skirt and a decent pillow. The paint on the legs matches the molded skin tones as well as can be expected (has a "chalkier" appearance). Overall it's a good look. Now I want a new Jabba and throne to put this on!



There's nothing really special about the standing legs. Swivel hips and ball jointed knees. The color of the fabric skirt does not match the color of the sculpted skirt, which is a slight disappointment. One of the biggest departures from previous Slave Leias (and a pervy point) is that this new one sports a thong.
