I wish I could stop hunting. Multiple times this week I've been walking into a store and saying, "What exactly are you going to do if they have good stuff? You have all these already!"

Which is to say that I'm basically hunting for my Arker friends, which just means I'm spending money to hunt...

Thanks!

Kang stands out because he's a pure, and weird, Avengers villain. Most Avengers villains are also villains to other people too. Plus Kang is basically a Lord of time (not timelord, lol), which means he actually rules everything in existence for certain distant periods of time. Pretty amazing. He's got tech and time travel ability all the time, and he lives all over the timestream. I love him for being weird and hard to fully comprehend.

I actually hate that figure. The dark body and terrible head screws up the whole effect. The body should be more like the arms and legs and a new head should be cast to make this thing anywhere near good. Even though it's actually Toro, I like the Invaders Torch WAY better.

'Frost Giant' Loki!

Yea, I was disappointed when I inquired about shipping information a week after ordering, only to hear that it takes 4-6 weeks to even make the cast, let alone ship.

The only thing I can see being the issue is getting back-logged on orders, and trying to group orders of the same pieces to make casting easier.

I don't know nearly enough about the casting process to call foul regarding the length of time, but I can say that I was unexpectedly disappointed after placing my order.

Too bad the casts look so good!

Meh, I don't see that as a dick move. If they're available to purchase, and the person has the money, why not? It results in a shitty collection, but I can't fault anyone for the directions they decide to go with it.

I met a guy who buys up all of one specific silver-age comic he can find, in the hopes of increasing the value of all of them by taking them off the market. I thought it was a bit nutty myself.

Because we appreciate the love he has for his collection/obsession. And we all hope that one day, Pete will give all his stuff to us for free... (lol Pete). Pete, sorry for throwing your name in this rant, but when I think of a ginormous collection, I think of you. You were the first person that came to mind, buddy. Sorry for putting you on the spot but I must say that I am so in love with your collection. One day, I tell myself... One day my collection will be like that.
Lol, don't worry about it dude. I hope no one hates me for collecting it all, but understand misplaced frustration completely.

Avengers 4 pack (Comic) w/ Loki, Hawkeye, New Hulk, Pointy head IM, $21

GotG 3 pack, $17

Grab 'em? Seven (and Groot) figures I don't have for less than $40 seems good eh?
I don't know. I've seen GotG 3-Packs go down to as low as $7, so I hate to pay more than $12 for them on clearance. I kind-of feel that if they're not moving at those prices now, they'll get reduced further, but that's a risk to take for sure. My WM Sentinels clearanced down to $40 and sat for weeks and one day disappeared. Couldn't tell if they got sent back or were clearanced down further and someone wiped them out...

Plastic goes right through the metal detectors too.
Could someone direct me to the showers? I want to make sure I never go in there...

Bah! I hate finding the remnants of a wave left behind. If you're going to wipe out the rest, just buy the last two also and return them elsewhere (I say, as if everyone has an extra $20 to float in returns for a week).

Sweet dude! I can't wait to see the changes go through, and can't believe you're going to voluntarily do all that extra work!

Well done sir! Hasbro should have put it on for us, but I think they have trouble with fancy paint on the backs of figures.

Sorry to hear that man! Hopefully the insane quality of these guys will blow those stones out of the... water? Don't know where that went.

Get well!

And of course, they made her new power extra stupid to go with her personality- if they wanted to make her interesting they should have made her turn into a hideous monster that was super strong and tough, not a bling maniquen.

Hated that X-Men run- I read it for free at the library and I still want a refund!
Lol. I like it. I like the idea of taking existing old stuff and turning it on it's ear. Nothing like that ever sticks, so why not change it up for awhile, I say.

Cat Beast is a nice change and is funny when you see him next to Dark Beast, who is still the old way. I don't think they even mentioned it, actually.

Diamond Emma is better than flesh emma. It'd be better if she was always diamond, though I don't think Scott would be sleeping with her nearly as much...
