Looking at this link on EBay, seller is from China. You're right, Scarecrow, never any counterfeit merchandise out of China.

Recently I bought a loose "Disney Pixar" car from a seller in China only to have it arrive a completely different scale, and much less intricate details - clearly counterfeit.

While you might be right that this DD may be a running change and future release, I would never trust a "loose" figure from China as legit, especially one that has not been posted on any websites as an upcoming release.

Oh, I was wrong to not assume that because it is from China, it is a fake piece of crap. Fantastic post, welcome to the forums.
