Really, Osborn got owned a few times- Spidey totally TOTALLY beat him down in The List- bu useing his experience as Stark's protoge' and knowledge of that Iron Man armor's systems.

And Hickman's rules for the book were simple- people get killed and dont come back. Heads get shot through, chopped off and blown apart- all on panel.

How Hickman avoided the book being part of the Max line is beyond me- it's pretty graphic.
