You should of course take your significant other out once in a while otherwise they might get grumpy.
Or do like I did yesterday and buy her a Coach purse....lol. That should keep her off my back for a while. I mean, I told her I bought some stuff today and she didn't even give me any looks! best $400 I've spent in a while lmao

I actually don't like doing it that way because I respond to each post as I read them. The way I do it is Right Click on Quote, then open in new window (not tab). I reply, but don't post. As I read more that I'd like to comment on, I click open in new window again, copy the quote, paste in the other window, write my reply and then close the window I copied quote from (I normally use Cut so I don't get confused and just close the window with an empty reply box). Once I'm done quoting everything, I just hit Submit and viola! Multi-Post without have to sort through and try to remember what I wanted to type when I first read it. It sounds more complicated than it really is - trust me.

Even when I'm out with a group it never rings that high.
Are you sharing the bill, then? I've spent $70+ more times that I can count, and that's just with me, my GF and my son. A few weeks ago, I had to drop $200 on a bill for 7 people...(family). Taking my cousin and her hubby + kids out to dinner on Sunday for my cousin's birthday. I already know to expect at least $150.

It happens.
Yeah, it happens too often sometimes. But you're right, drinks do drive up the bill hella quick.

Good for you guys for that though. If you enjoyed it, it's worth it to you.
I never liked spending that much on food, or anything for that matter. After time goes by, you realize that there are times when you have to spend that much, and there are occasions which deserve to have that much spent on them. It's not really a matter of growing up poor or rich. I didn't grow up rich but I still find myself willing to spend that much on a meal for my loved ones. I can guarantee that most of us are able to afford it because we've busted our asses to get out of the life we were raised in and into a better one.

Also, LM - So jealous of that Jubilee...Nice score, bro. How was your son's day? Did you do anything special today for him or is there a party planned for this weekend? If you've hired a Taco guy, I'm there! lol
