It seems that even though we are FINALLY getting some awesome characters in a physical format (Granted there is a ton of selection.) it seems that lines like "Riobot" are doubling up on figure releases such as the JEHUTY and ANUBIS from Zone of Enders even though Kotobukiya is releasing model kits and have already seen a release as a Revoltech. Not even to mention the Queen's Blade Revoltech and their squishy counterpart from FULLPUNI.

I am already seeing a trend with the Nendroid figure too~! Soon we'll be flooded with a ton of selection of the same characters and for a price that frankly I am not willing to pay. :/

I hear you brother...and sometimes the price increases are justified, and sometimes they're just a cash grab and it's tough to tell the difference.
