Painted from head to toe, each turtle has been given 3 stages of drybrushing, providing a natural appearance. They each feature a unique color scheme, yet not so much that they look totally different. The details in the muscles and leather are great once a little paint brings out the sculpting.
4 stages of browns give the leather a worn yet natural look. Splinter features a totally different color scheme, matching the original show. The detail in his fur, teeth and eyes is superb. His bandaging has been given a dirty, used look. In fact all of the figures have repainted teeth, using white on black drybrushing to bring out detail. All wooden weapons have been given 3 stages of paint for realism.
All metal weapons have been painted silver, and all weapon chains have been replaced with real metal chains. Basically every painting technique I know was used here, including spray for the weapons. I hand mixed so many shades of green and brown that this is a totally one of a kind set.
Anyway, a picture is worth a thousand words, right?
COWABUNGA!
