This post includes (minor) spoilers for the final episode, "The Angels Take Manhatten." If you haven't seen it yet, please skip.
I feel that The Angels Take Manhatten is the only episode this season that was much good. They've all been pretty dissappointing.
As brilliant and encompassing as the previous two seasons have been, Moffet had set the bar really high, and I certainly wasn't expecting that to be topped. But I feel so far this is the weakest season of all seasons since the series was relaunched in '05.
That said, the Angels were back up to snuff! Love a good angel, and "Blink" is my altime favorite ep. However, I felt they kinda jumped the shark in a lot of ways with the Time of the Angels two-parter (We should never see an angel move. Ever. Because even if no character is watching it, we still are, and this is the kind of show to break the wall in that way). But "Angels take Manhatten" was "Blink" times pi! Definately worthy sequel! It had it's share of plotholes, but all in all, pretty great episode!
I now want a shirt that's mint green, has an outline of the statue of liberty, and says "For God's sake, DON'T BLINK!"
For anyone else... does anyone else find the blatant plothole of the Doctor visiting Skarro to be troublesome?
MegaPrime,
If you have a DVR, BBC America reruns the new Doctor Who every weekday morning, Ten AM eastern. (Seasons 1-5 usually. They've barily shown Season 6 since it finaled)
