I read the first issue, and I was going to go to the first 3-5 like I did with the other books, but then they started making a whole big deal in advertising that Alan Scott was gay. I don't care what his sexual preferences are, but they only did it to grab media attention and I will not support that. I also refuse to read the Green Lantern comics now that they are doing it again with the "first Muslim-American" super hero.

No, I stopped reading that one after the three issues (but it lasted longer than The Dark Knight, which I stopped after #1). However, the only Batman story I have found to be worthwhile in the last 5 years is that Retroactive 70s book that came out last year. It was fantastic, well drawn, well thought out, and then I go and read the New 52 first issue and found it to be horrible. I am tired of these comics being dragged out for like 700 issues just to tell one story. Give me some freaking stand alones again!! Do the extended stories in graphic novel form.

Aquaman is the only N52 book I like, but again, I am dropping it after issue 13 comes out because I am tired of reading these drawn out stories, especially when it is interrupted by crappy 0 issues. I'll just read it when the paperbacks come out.
