They fall into the $45-65 range per figure depending on where you buy from with only the out of production Mark VI and the EX Mark VI currently breaking the $100 price tag on ebay.
Then there are the recently announced Figuarts Iron Man and War Machine

These are expected to be between the $40-$50 range and are in the 5.5" scale.
I hope this info helps. The select figures have good detail but I don't care for figures with minimal articulation. Though MS line is definitely improving on that lately.
Good info. It depends on what version of Ironman you want, comics or movie.
If your going movie, the walmart exclusive Robert Downey Jr Headsculpt figure is a good option or any of the walmart exclusives. The warmachine from the same line is the best one to get and an amazing figure. Marvel Select figures are good for paint and detail, articulation is a bit lacking and due to their slightly larger scale may look out of place with your other figures, unless u go all select or select ML figures. The new ROML extremis IM is cheap enough and good for what it is, you can add extra hands or a headsculpt from the IM 2pack if you want. Hulkbuster is 1 of the biggest/best figures for your $$ around $40-50 range. Series 1 yellow/red or gold are easy to obtain and look great for an oldschool comic feel, same with the 1st appearance gold and silver figures for a classic golden age Avengers team. House of M Ironman is harder to find without buying the set, but he's amazing for that series line of comics and has amazing detail. Silver Centuion is a good figure to have, walmart movie figures from series 1 such as iron man with remoaveable chest piece and mask is a solid figure same with iron monger. Hope that helps, honestly use marvelegends.net for reference pics of all the diff figures and buy what you like.
