Oh I agree and understand but it seems to me that the money they could spend doing that little bit of articulation in addition might be offset by an increased purchase from the collector market. I never cared about the goofy accouterments (same as the GI Joe line) b/c they can all go in the trash or the customizing (chum) bucket but that little bit of extra articulation would get me to buy the toys in addition to the kids. I do also realize that the collector market is not the big spender that the kids market is yet I wonder what the dollar trade-off vs articulation would be in that scenario? Anyone on this board work for a Hasbro or similar type company that can comment? I know the base answer will be the added expense but I am really curious to know if volume of sales (ie a small bump up from collectors) can actually offset something like that without raising the price of the toy.
