Last year I made a Henry Cavill Superman statue for a great customer of mine. Now he's commissioned me to re-create the "VAULT SCENE" from MAN OF STEEL which was shown in the first promo pic for the film and more recently in the trailer.

This pic is from the front, directly on the torso and symbol. The full sculpting for the statue is about 90% completed, and I'll show more of it soon, but for today, I just wanted to show this pic. The texturing is all done with a ball stylus and the "dots" are done individually, not with any template or pre-made pattern. It's not 100% screen accurate but honestly, I can't replicate the real chainmail pattern of the suit. This is as close as I can get.

Once the figure is done, I will be making the bank wall, damaged vault, and rubble from that first promo pic. Got it all mapped out!
