It's all about professionalism and pride, and Mattel has proven they have neither. Is it any wonder why they don't have any relationships with actual retailers? Retailers can't take the company seriously, and their stock in stores prove this. Digital River proves this on a monthly basis. I don't see Hasbro's lines only having two different characters on the peghooks with 10 of each. Yes, there are peg warmers, but usually Hasbro's stock is only 1-2 of that character. Not 10 Batmans and 8 Banes my Target currently has had on their peghooks since the day they came out.
People will reply to you with "It's not their fault, its the retailers for ordering so many". Well before anyone says shit, retailers can't decide how much of a character they get so it is easily all Mattels fault on some level. Damn Mattel and their awesome product [most of the time] and shitty everything else.
