Okay I'm the first to respond to this, so yay to me, lol. Honestly the best thing you can do is organize all the figures/items into collections, so all the gi joe over here, all the matrix over there, keep things together, that way if you have a gi joe collector who only collects it he/she can see exactly what you have and make an offer on the lot or pick and choose. All you need to do is right down is name of character, company, year and condition, so 1999 mcfarlane matrix neo with guns in box slight dent, etc, will help sell the items as some collectors are MOC/MISB only and other are fine with loose items or damaged packaging as they intend to open them.
Shipping, invest in boxes, bubble wrap, tape, go to your local postoffice and apply for a bulk shipping acct or discounted acct for shipping so much, retail stores will give u empty boxes to save on cost. Consider ebay for selling bulk, but u then intern can give the items to a scalper who will try to charge us collectors more. Myself I'm interested in Marvel Legends figures, iron man, hellboy, tmnt, some matrix, spiderman, xmen, maybe the odd gundam, and other item but honestly I need to see pics, and talk prices before I can make an offer.
