i didnt start collecting action figures until last year when i started making money. during this first year i noticed people liking 3 3/4. for me i want something i can hold/play with and put on display and 3 3/4 doesnt do that for me. its just to small. smaller size, less detail, less articulalion. I find that the size of the figure plays virtually no role in how well it looks displayed on my shelves. I have figures ranging from 1 centimeter, to 12 inches on my shelves, and the variety makes them all look amazing to me.

Also, just because a figure is smaller, doesn't necessarily mean it has less articulation. Hasbro's 3.75" GI Joes have more articulation than most larger figures from other brands.
