Here is a little conundrum for you to puzzle over, friends. The next issue of IDW's awesome Robots in Disguise ongoing was posted early on iBooks - and in one crowd scene, the eagle-eyed among us might be able to spot a familiar looking body type on one of the Decepticons. By way of Allspark user Spectre we've got the panel in question (left) - you can see it is a Generation 2 Dreadwing ATB styled redeco of the IDW stealth bomber Megatron.

Ordinarily, this would not be much more than a case of an artist using an existing design, tweaked, to make a new character to fill out a crowd scene. But with the recent revelation of IDW's characters getting toys - among them, the stealth bomber Megatron - and Hasbro's penchant for reusing molds to break even on design and production costs, and you move from a random cameo into the possibility that Dreadwing here is being planned as a future reuse of Megatron's mold.

As always we will not know for sure until we get some official confirmation of a toy being in the works - but the evidence on the table presents a compelling argument, alongside a perfect way to recognise and commemorate Generation 2 as a part of a 30th anniversary line.
