Jesus, why can't a "movie line" actually give us the stuff from the movie before it starts releasing repaints, slight remolds, and molds that have nothing to do with that particular movie. I mean.. I saw iron man 3 the day it came out and still can't get a decent version of the mark 42, that's outrageous.

Being that I'm more of a transformers collector, I bash hasbro quite a bit, but at least with the transformers movie lines, quite a few of the characters from the movie were released with the launch of the toy line. In the case of iron man, they wait til they saturate the market with toys that have nothing to do with the movies (ones that don't sell) which then becomes more difficult to find the actual movie toys in later waves since most retailers are swimming in the initial wave that hasn't been selling very much.

And then, they don't even bother giving us main characters from the movie. Like with iron man 2.. Not a single version of the final battle whiplash armor was released.. With iron man 3.. So far there hasn't been a single bad guy. There have been photos of the mandarin, but what about killian.. And more so, what about ALL of the different armors from the movie?

Couldn't legends wave one have been mark 42, patriot, and mandarin? Wave two could've been heartbreaker, red snapper, and killian.. And wave 3 could've been more of the specialized armors.

It's just ridiculous that its been almost a month since the movie was released and I still can't find legends mark 42.. I really hope they don't wonder why their sales suck and why retailers aren't ordering more cases.
