It seems to me there going full circle, before legends Toy Biz had the xmen, spiderman, and Hulk lines, then they brought them in under the Legends banner to be able to offer a more diverse selection in one brand... brilliant! this whole "rebranding" thing would have been more well received I believe if they had used a little tact, for instance, like they did with series 1 being furry files, series 2 Hammer, and so on they could have gone with "Series 6 Marvel Universe: Avengers", Series 7 Marvel Universe X-men, that way the lines would still be tied together with some continuity for collectors. the way there doing things just feels like a big "FU" to collectors. repacking, overuse of the same buck over and over, and the overall lack of attention paid to collectors since vonner left. remember when they did fan poles? and actually produced the figures we voted on?!?! Our only hope at this point is for Hasbro to take a major hit due to there own incompetence, realize what they suck at and finally hire someone (like Vonner) who gives a rats ass and can drive this concept forward with imagination, passion for the product, and an ear opened to the consumer. But that would involve them doing something right, and its been a wile....
well said,I couldn't agree more.
