I don't know much about the Armor Girls Project product line. I came across it during a search for Gundam products.

As I understand it, the concept behind the Armor Girls Project is similar to the Busou Shinki action figure line, in that the figures are of anime girls equipped in some sort of powered armor.

The series is ongoing as long as Bandai, the producer of the figures, sees it as a viable product line. Bandai tends to drop product lines without much warning when the units don't seem to sell well.

Bandai has been putting a push behind Infinite Stratos AGP figures so it does look like we'll see more figures of characters from the series.

AmiAmi normally offers a fair amount of discounting on their inventory so you could check there. Hobbylink Japan applies a similar discounting to many of their inventory as well, as does Hobby Search.

Aside from IS, I've seen Gundam and Strike Witches themed Armor Girls Project figures.
