Ah, thanks guys. My memory is terrible when it comes to stuff I watched when I was little - I'm not surprised I don't remember Slash from the old cartoon.

I already spoiled myself on his new origin. Honestly, I knew from the start of this show that they would do it that way... I just thought it would be used to introduce Tokka, not someone like Slash. Can't say I'm disappointed though, I love the new design.

Y'know, I really wish they would start alternating priorities when it comes to articulation in this line. I can understand why every figure in every wave can't have the same level of articulation as the first versions of the turtles, but what they should do is make every other variation somewhat statuesque (like the Ooze chuckers) to give that wave's villains all of the articulation. So it would go like this:

Wave 1: super poseable turtles, limited villains - Wave 2: super poseable villains, limited turtles - wave 3 super poseable turtles, limited villains.

They already have that pattern going with the turtles (original, ooze chuckers, stealth turtles) but the villains end up getting shafted every time no matter what - and that's not even taking their size into account. That's a whole 'nother problem...
