I've learned to take a tactician with me when I go against Scrapper Thanos (usually Black Panther for the extra attacks once Rage kicks in or Cap for his Shield Guard). As a result, anytime I fight Thanos and he's in that upper corner, I try to pack someone to counter his lieutanent.

If you're lucky, and you get the Attilan weapon for the daily spin, use it and any of the other Attilan weapons you have. They're great anti-Thanos weapons. I have all of them except for the one requiring the 50 items. For the forth slot, I've used the Warbringer Axe or Blade of the Guardian.
