I'm not talking about the timeline of what actually got released first, I'm talking about what we were exposed to first. The show was your first exposure to Transformers, so for you everything is centered around it. For me, my first exposure was the toys. I didn't even know there was a show until about three months after playing with the toys.

And I didn't have to make up anything. Names, abilities and backgrounds were all listed on the toys' boxes. If you could read, it was all spelled out for you. So I didn't call Prime anything but Prime. And frankly, I find it somewhat condescending that you would assume otherwise.

I'm not arguing that Hasbro won't stick to Takara's schedule, I'm just saying they don't have to - and I'm speculating on what they will do based on the way they do business.
