Multiple reports are coming to us that the Transformers Prime First Edition Deluxes are being found again at US retail. These deluxes were some of the last work of Transformers design team member Eric Siebenaler, and are regarded as some of the best representations of the characters available.
Notably, this release of First Edition Transformers Prime toys includes sightings of the Autobot Cliffjumper at US Toys R Us stores. When the First Edition Transformers Prime toys had their second run last year, the US got the zombified "Terrorcon" Cliffjumper rather than this original version of the character, who was previously only available in Asia, Japan and Canada. This marks the first time that this version of Cliffjumper with his show accurate flip-out arm cannons has been available at US retail. A big thanks to 2005 Boards members Rookbartley and Tracer for the heads up!
Still looking for some of the other First Edition Transformers Prime Deluxes? You might want to start hitting up Ross stores. 2005 Boards member soundwavempl of Bryan, TX reports seeing the Starscream, Arcee and Bumblebee First Edition figures in Ross for $5.99 - a great chance to add these three excellent Transformers toys to your collection for a bargain price.
