I listed the YF-21 as the Sturmvogel II prototype in the listing and we went back and forth on this
a month ago
and you mean to tell me it's really worth going back to
now
? Who cares. It's not like I listed that Gamlin and co were flying the YF-21 in Dynamite 7; like with
all aircraft
, the designation number/letter is more important than the name. If you want to talk about accuracy, there it is. The YF-21 isn't as different as the YF-21 compared to the YF-17 to the eventual F/A-18A. This can go on and on. I don't really see the point in continuing to press the issue.
I'm not the 1st person on the internet to label the YF-19 as the Excalibur nor the YF-21 as the Sturmvogel II.
Arguably different continuities? The only out of continuity series consist of Macross II and some of the games like the Turbo Graphix 16 game. Plus takes place a few years before Macross 7.
