Figure size, number of production runs, total number produced (probably the single biggest factor in price), cost of manufacturing, cost of licenses, exclusivity, cost of materials (not all vinyl is the same), etc. Lots of factors go into the cost of making figures/collectibles and some companies want to only cater to a specific price point or market.
