Meanwhile, the stuff that does move, the MU, ML, and even the DC collector series stuff (movie master, Batman, etc...) sits bare and empty. It just leaves me scratching my head sometimes. The majority of toys now a days are still being marketed towards kids, when collectors are actually the ones who should be targeted. Kids now a days sadly seem more interested in getting tablets and video games these days than they are a Batman action figure or Monsters High doll. It amazes me even more that retailers in general don't realize this as well. But, I guess we should be grateful that Target and Walmart still continue to carry toys at all. =/
You are so right. When I ask a Target rep why are your pegs empty they blame hasblo. He told me they are terrible at shipping, and sometimes they have wait weeks to get toys. Target rep told me it's hard on them to fill pegs, when they have noting to fill. He showed me an order list of back orders. I agree toys are doing down the drain they are making them cheap and no one is buying them. I have little newfew's and they hated the iron man 3 line along with superman. One of them said I don't want to build an iron man, I want it to look cool and shoot stuff. Hasbro is okay with making cheap toys and fill the pegs. As collectors we are tired of dealing with scalpers to get toys. There freaking toys not hard to make and it's sad we can't find them. Only cheap knock offs collecting dust.
