In the 1980's, very few Transformers video games were released. None were released for mainstream game systems in North America, though there was a Commadore64 game. In Japan, a game was released for the Famicom, the Japanese counterpart to the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game was called Transformers: Convoy no Nazo, more commonly called The Mystery of Convoy. In it, you play as Ultra Magnus on his quest to find Convoy (Optimus Prime). The game is known for being extremely difficult.
