There were quite a few of them that showed up at Big Lots in 2013.

Some MOTUC figures are subscription-only exclusives. The rest are technically exclusives too, but extras are usually put up for sale to the general public on Matty's website. Some times Matty will even do additional production runs on the more-popular figures and continue to sell them to the general public well after their original debut(s) in the subscription.

With some of those figures, it looks like Mattel made too much and had to wholesale them off to a liquidation store - in this case Big Lots.
