Yeah, I think Joe got mistranslated info, the listing on Medicom's site says that the figures will be 980 yen each, which IS a little pricier than normal for Kubricks, but certainly not the $50 per figure that's been stated.

-OR-... perhaps the $250 set is some special exclusive. Medicom's made several Kubrick 2-packs for Batman, Superman, Pirates of the Carribean, etc. which were hobby/store exclusives & generally sold for $30. And any boxed set DOES eliminate the problem of buying duplicates since Kubricks are usually blind-packed boxes.

Or maybe Medicom's just taking advantage of the fact that Disney fans will buy literally ANYTHING haha.
