1. I can walk, but prefer to drive. I'm thinking if walking uses energy flying has to also right? I saw a physics paper once that concluded Superman would have to consume something like 8 million calories a day! so I think even if you could fly (or become non caporal and float) after the novelty wore off you'd drive.
2. no one wore seat belts until 1997.
3. for reasons I don't care to explore at this juncture I have found myself behind the wheel more than once with a cape on. the proper procedure is to bundle it up and sit it to your non door side (right US/ left UK) YOU DO NOT WANT TO JUST SIT ON IT! you will choke! I think it works on the same law of nature that causes your underwear to crawl up your but when your stationary in a chair.
