In addition to the requisite, sizable area devoted to vendors and retailers, the Summit City Comic Con will have an Artists Alley, Kruse says.

“It’s a chance to wander around and check out what these guys are doing,” he says. “You can pick up some original art, get signatures and sketches, and sit down and chat with the people who make these books we love so much possible.”

Atkins is no stranger to GI Joe, aside from working on the ongoing IDW GI Joe series with Chuck Dixon, he also penciled the Snake Eyes Declassified miniseries for DDP, in addition to designing the Plague Troopers!
