Well basically, Mattel did an Unmasked Batman figure for SDCC that, while a decent idea in theory, they managed to bungle in the way only Mattel could. They put out three versions, one unmasked, one unmasked with a paint wash and battle damage, and one in the process of removing his mask, aka this ass-tastic hunk of plastic:



Also, not only were there three different versions, you had to get a ticket to have even a chance of getting one, and you didn't know which one you got 'til you opened it, 'cause it was sold in one of those white mailer boxes the DCSC and MOTUC figures come in. Essentially, Mattel fudged up an easy Comic-Con exclusive BIG-time.
