I have a hard time believing anything CN says, as they have a history of tanking shows that aren't created by them while allowing their homegrown shows to continuously run regardless of low ratings or popularity. That's not Mattel's fault; that's TRU's decision. The Walmart near me still sells them for $9.99.

Manufacturers can only suggest a retail price. Rarely are they able to enforce one.
