It's
Botcon
week already! Each year we like to count down to Botcon weekend with a look back at the figures we clamor over, and see where they are on
eBay
. This year is a year of anniversaries. The Transformers are 30, Botcon is turning 20, and Fun Publications is celebrating their 10th show. But today we will look back at the first 10.
The first 10 years were run by the creators of Botcon, The Hartmans (for the most part) along with 3H for a few. That's a whole other story, we're focusing on the toys here. Early on, there were only 1 or 2 a year, very simple repaints for the most part. As the brand grew, so did the toys. Eventually getting new heads and very detailed paint applications. Below is a list of 1994 - 2004. Check out the figures and see if you can fill in your collection, or just check to see where figures you have are selling!
