For example, I have the Greg Capullo style Riddler in my DCUC cabinet, but Nygma's always been a tall guy to me, so it doesn't really stand out too bad. Then there's the deluxe sized figures, like the Arkham Grundy, Titan Joker, Clayface and Killer Croc, and the Infinite Crisis Mongul, that are supposed to be gigantic guys. Heck, with some futzing (or maybe a flying pose if it's a flying character) you could probably put any DCC figure in your DCUC! the only nit I have is the varying artistic styles, but that's just one'a those things...
I hear you man. I used to collect DC direct, in particular that run that they modeled on the late Michael Turner's art. I had Black Lightning, Elongated Man, Vixen (boy do I wish Mattel had gotten around to Vixen), and Hawkgirl (also a nice sculpt). I'm pretty anal though (if you haven't noticed from my posts...
) and it irked me that they were so statuesque next to Legends like Kang, Wonderman, and Captain Britain. I ended up selling them all and starting my DCUC collection in earnest. Additionally, I tend to agree with Dr. Kain (not on DCUC sculpts vs DCC) in that I dig old costumes. The New 52 is a big turn-off for me.
