HISS Tank boards member Gyre-Viper has posted images of his recently acquired preproduction sword brothers from the
GI Joe Pursuit of Cobra
line. Shown in this new batch of images are:
Storm Shadow
from the spring 2011 assortment
Training Snake Eyes
assortment/wave info pending official confirmation
Perhaps
Hasbro
thinks the
Pursuit of Cobra
is
crucial
too; what if the new
Snake Eyes
figure is part of an additional wave(or waves) planned for debut at
San Diego Comic Con 2010
? This version of Snake Eyes features a mix of
Arashikage Clan
ninja gear from previous releases, and the gear from
Training Duke
(the figure based on the scene where
Brendan Frasier
made a brief cameo as
SGT. Stone
and asked "
Are they Joes or jokes?
").
Gyre-Viper has mentioned that Storm Shadow has a button on the side. Could this be a return to the
Action Attack
gimmick last seen in the 1st waves of
Valor VS Venom
? Currently, it does not seem like articulation(aside from the lack of a torso ball joint; a waist swivel is used in lieu of it) is compromised, so cross your fingers this stays the same by final production. Full articulation is a standard for
GI Joe
figures; without it a GI Joe figure isn't "
America's moving fighting man
"(it's like a
Transformer
that
can't transform
). Hit the title bar to see more!
