The Auto Assembly website has announced an interesting bit of news for fans of third party products - this year, for the first time ever, the convention will be hosting its very own third party panel! Check it out:

Auto Assembly 2014 is certainly a year of firsts for us… we’ve been introducing a lot of new items to the convention for all of you this year with a photo studio courtesy of Nick Hardy, a car display, a multitude of other surprises and now – for the first time ever – a Third Party Panel!

Taking place in the Main Hall on Sunday, Ceno Kibble (Third Party toy consultant and writer for MMC and Mech iDeas) and Cassy Sark (freelance designer for MMC, KFC, iGear and others) will take to the stage to host a special Third Party Toy Panel bringing you an exclusive sneak peak at some of the forthcoming items we can expect to see from the third party world over the next twelve months. For those of you interested in the fantastic range of unofficial toys out there, this is going to be an amazing event and one that’s not to be missed! Both Ceno and Cassy have worked tirelessly over the last couple of years to bring us the Auto Assembly convention exclusive toys which will be on sale over the weekend, so you know that this panel is going to be something special…

To see this you will either need a full Weekend or Sunday ticket for the convention but don’t worry if you haven’t already pre-registered as there’s still time to guarantee your place at Europe’s Largest Transformers Convention! Auto Assembly 2014 is taking place over the weekend of Friday 8th – Sunday 10th August at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel in Birmingham where we’ll be celebrating 30 years of Transformers so come and join us!

You can discuss this exciting announcement after the jump!
