I am really expecting a DC New 52 Bane soon since now he looks just like the Bane from Dark Knight Rises but with classic Bane Mask.
I would be lying if I said that the comic bane (CollectAndConnect or BuildaFigure, which ever eases the tongue) was not my favorite. I've always liked Bane, and his original comic appearance still stands as my go-to look. However I am going for an all Arkham-verse mini-collection, that is to say Arkham-verse only, not every single figure from the line thereof. Also coming upon a DCUC Bane isn't so cheap.
Side note: one aspect of the Origins design that slightly bothers me (bothers isn't quite the right word) is that the white of his mask is the pattern he used from Secret Six (the last DC comic series I ever read) which is weird since that design came later, and that figure is supposed to be Bane from the beginning of the Arkham-verse.
I like almost every Bane, even the red hulking version from The Batman. And for some reason I really like the gimp(ish) version from The New Batman Adventures. The only one I really don't like is celery-man from Schumacher, who kind of just raped Batman in general.
