I think Katoki did the original designs for the TV show, then Okawara did some and his designs were used while Katoki's were held off and he made new designs which were used for Endless Waltz. That image in question is from the mid 90's, it showed up in some of the hobby mags at the time.

that would answer some questions i had about the design. the legs and feet are almost (if not) identical to the deathscythe hell. since the new heavy arms, sandrock, and nataku will share this frame i wonder which designs will be utilized for them.
