for linking us to a new promo image for the newest Transformers Cloud figures:
Roadbuster and Hellwarp
. The promo image found on the TakaraTomy Mall's
home page
not only gives us another look at the Takara exclusive repaints, but also provides a preorder window of September 24 - November 4, 2014. As with past releases, several of TFW's sponsors may also carry these figures.
As a reminder of who these characters are and what their paint schemes represent, Roadbuster is a Transformers Energon Ironhide themed repaint. He'll be the fourth release of TakaraTomy Mall exclusives.
Hellwarp is a little more obscure, but TFW's very own Sol Fury provides a great summary of who Hellwarp is: Hellwarp is a completely new, non-homage character, there was a Hellscream in 1998's Beast Wars Second, who was a remold of Cybershark to represent an evolved version of that show's Starscream. Hellwarp is a similar concept - a recolored version of Generations Skybyte to represent a cyborg shark evolution of skywarp. To top it off, the mohawk head that using the Skybyte mold gives Skywarp just might be a reference to Transformers Armada Skywarp, who also had a fin on his head. Hellwarp is the E-Hobby exclusive of the fourth set of Cloud releases.
Check it out after the jump and discuss away!
